Which one should I take? An A in AP biology is going to pull up my GPA to 5.0. Otherwise, some colleges recommend prospective students to take between 3-4 foreign language classes in HS.

Which class is more inherently interesting to you? Do you really want another year of Spanish? Do you honestly care that much about biology?

Stop thinking about which of these two might “look better” to someone you don’t even know, and start thinking about what YOU want to learn. You might realize that what you really want to do is to take welding.

Assuming you are going into your Sr year, check out the language requirements at the schools and for the majors you are most interested in. It’s tough to make generalizations about language requirements for admissions and a degree. They can vary widely from school to school and major to major.

Frankly speaking, it doesn’t really matter for me. I am not a good biologist as I managed to pull an A- on biology honors. I am willing to put an extra time on biology if it raises my GPA. The difficulty of Spanish honors class I don’t really know, but I’m willing to bet that colleges are going to be more impressed with a Spanish class rather than a biology class. Note that I have taken all AP science classes offered at my school except for biology.

P.S. I want to double major in astrophysics and math.

Spanish 3.

Your reasons please?

Well I always thought that 3~4 years of a language was important, unless you already finished it. This:

But I really don’t know, if you like Bio, and you’re gonna be astrophysics/math (which doesn’t, to the best I know, have any bio…), you can go with bio.

go what you want but it seems the only reason you’re taking ap bio is due to 5.0 gpa and nothing else. if you like it, go with it.

I have never once heard of a math or astrophysics department that required biology!

Take the Spanish.
