Course Selection/Grading Questions

Some of the classes say NG or not graded? Does that mean these classes aren't counted toward your GPA? One such class is Math 104, a class I'm going to take because it's a pre-med requirement, why is this course NG?

Also if I plan on pre-med is this a good schedule for my first semester of freshmen year:

1. Integrated Studies (I got in to the Benjamin Franklin Scholars Program) (2 credits)

2. Biology 101-001 (I'm confused as to what section I'm suppose to pick I picked 001 which is a lecture, but I think I was suppose to pick section 101 lab, which one is the one required for pre-med?) (1.5 credits)

Math 104-001 ( I also picked section 001 here, is this the right section for pre-med?) (0 credits, btw why is this course 0 credits?)

Are these enough courses for my first semester as a freshmen?

I don’t know toooo much about isp but that seems plenty considering it totals to 4 credits. the reason math 104-001 is 0 credits is b/c you get credit through your recitation…basically just a technicality. for bio you need to sign up for the lecture and the lab…the numbers don’t matter b/c theyre just different sections. there’s no “pre-med” section, there are just different sections period. for some courses itll matter, like chem 101 has engineering sections, but for most courses (like math and bio) it won’t matter which section you choose

^ Yeah just realized I was also suppose to register for the recitation of math 104 and the lecture for the bio separately, thanks for the info
