I finally received my course registration packet! Unfortunately... it rained here today and the bottom of the envelope got wet which resulted in all of my papers in the envelope being wet at the bottom.. now it's dried but wrinky lol this is wonderful.

but anyways. just wanted to share the news just incase there are some people here on the edge of their seats waiting for this packet. it should be there soon so don't worry!!

as for me... i have no idea where to start with this thing.. so hard choosing classes. all i know is that i'm taking the classes required for my major and then i have to take the math placement exam online and i'll most likely take German since i took it during HS.

I got mine today too Hailey. Yeah, it rained, then got sunny, then rained, and become sunny again. Crazy NY weather. I did the spanish placement exam in half an hour and only got into spanish 102. Wasn't as easy as I thought. Apparently, we can't take the math until the 22nd of this month. I think you can take a max of 5 electives. I'm just wondering if that's too much (?). I'm double majoring though. Right now, I'm thinking about Spanish 102 and Chinese 101. Maybe the intro to compsci, and even stick a humanities and calc 2 in there..

i didnt get it! aaaaaaaaaaaaah.........is it cuz i didnt send in my health form yet?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/

melo i'm sure you'll be getting it soon. mail takes longer because you live in GA. we're in NY so it takes us 1-2 days for mail from Syracuse.

Papersignals, i agree.. NY and it's crazy weather. today it was just on and off with the rain. very annoying. ugh. i took 3 years of german but i think i'll just start from german 1 again.. it would have been great if i took german this year too but a lot of teacher leaving the school mix-up so yeaa no language for seniors.. i practically forgot most of my german except the very basic.... ahhh

idk what everyone is so worried about, lol. if you didnt get your registration packet, it is OK! youre already in su, you know you are, so waiting a few days extra to register is not a big deal. dont worry, lol, its coming.

hey does anyone know the typical number of credits freshman should take? my major has 17 required credits and i think probably taking one or two electives is the norm.

i mean. i wasnt worried about the registration packet until i got on here and yall are like "i got my packeeeeeeeeeet!!!!". im like whut! wait! i didnt get mine! do any of yall have to take a math placement test?

in depends on what major and college melo. i think they suggest all students take it anyone (i wouldn't know why you wouldn't) so you can find out what math class you'll be placed in- don't want to be put in the wrong one. and if you're in CAS you're going to have to take Calc anyway- (not me, haha)... and i figured out i'm taking 1-2 electives

so am i. thats why im struggling in school now. overload. just wait till u have the meeting with your advisor. everything will get str8ened out.

wow u guys already took the spanish placement test?! when's the last day we can take it? I'd like to study it over the summer and get my edge back on again, since i hardly used it this yr, and skipped the AP test.

Papersignals, you're taking chinese?! cool :D I took a semester of it junior year, but stopped for SATs 2nd semester. are you chinese?

recieved my packet just today! :X ugh MATH, i hate it. I didn't take any this year. Maybe i shoulda done so ta get it ova with, and just taken japanese in college. pooh. grrr.
