I'm currently a sophomore and I'm going to have to pick my classes soon for next year. So far my schedule consists of:

Ap English 3
Ap U.S. History
Pre-ap precalculus
Pre-ap physics
Pre-ap Spanish 3
Band

I have one more class that I can take, and I can pick from pre-ap computer science, ap european history, ap statistics, ap biology, ap chemistry, or ap enviromental science. Since I am pretty good at math, I'm leaning towards doing ap stat. Is this a poor decision because I'm already taking pre-calc or is ap stat not too bad? I appreciate any help

What do you want to major in? If undecided, then take one more hard class like AP chem or AP Bio that will help you in college. They look better than APES or AP Stats.

Not sure yet about major. I plan on going to med school but I’m still deciding if I want to do premed or just major in something else and just take the required classes for med school.

On the other hand, I do see what you’re saying. I’ll probably do ap bio senior year. The only reason why I hesitate taking ap chem over ap stat is the work load. I’m in marching band, and the outside of class chem labs always conflict with my rehearsals. There’s just not enough time in the day for all this work…

what is a pre-ap class?

It’s similar to honors classes. Not ap but it’s preparing you for them
