I have some questions regarding course sequences (A-B-C).

Is it normal to finish sequences if you start them? For instance: I am taking Math 31AH and I plan to take 31BH, as they replace Math 20F and 20C respectively. However, Math 31CH replaces 20E which is not required for my major and I would be better off taking 20D that quarter. Are there detriments/consequences of not finishing a sequence? Would it look bad to grad schools? (Also, does it look bad to grad schools if you drop from an honors sequence to a normal one? e.g. Chem 6AH to Chem 6B)

Also, are courses in sequences only offered in their ordered quarters? e.g. A in fall, B in winter, C in spring? I'd like to start a sequence (take the A course) in winter quarter but I do not know if it is offered then.

Last question--is it bad to start a sequence, take a break, and then continue it a year later? For instance, if I took Econ 100A this quarter and then opted to take Econ 100B sometime next year instead of just the following quarter would it be bad? (I do not mean "bad" in the sense that you will forget the material, I am just wondering if there are other consequences that I may not be aware of.)
