Is it possible to get a syllabus before courses start? Is it possible for every class? If so, how can we get them? I know it's a lot of questions but I think they can help prepare any first years.

Sorry for latching on, but when are we supposed to be buying the textbooks for our classes?

Email the prof. Why can’t you just wait until the first day of class? Are you trying to decide what to take?

Usually the professor will email you before classes start with a syllabus and other info…at least in my experiences. It may be at least a week or two though, seeing its not yet August.

I’ve had professors who won’t give a syllabus before the first day.

If you’re going to buy your books from the bookstore you can do it when classes start. I have a friend who orders online and she already has some of hers. She’s a history major so she gets 500-600 pages per week to read so she’s starting now, lol.

If you are registered for courses, the syllabi will appear on Collab.
