Course Validation with College Credits? (Reapplicant)

Hi y’all. A quick background info: I was not able to get an appointment to the USNA this year, but I plan to reapply for next year. I have decided to go to community college for the time being (due to financial reasons, I can’t afford to go to a major university).

My question is, can I validate certain classes plebe summer next year if I take those classes at CC? For example, if I take Calculus I and pass the validation test, can I move to Calc II plebe year? I know it works that way for AP tests but what about community college credits?

It depends on the course. Normally you can’t just get transfer credit - you would need to take an exam to get out of the course. However, I’d recommend that you just retake those courses at the Academy - there are enough other difficulties to deal with here that taking a course over (and hopefully doing well) can be a huge advantage.
