Does the course rigor of 1st semester senior year affect college admissions?

I'm taking 4 AP classes, a post-calculus class, and 1 honors. Will colleges I'm applying to see that I am continuing the rigor of my schedule and will the schedule have an impact in the admission decision?

Also, if I apply to a school that recommends SAT II's, but I don't have them, will it hurt my chances significantly? If I apply to schools that require, will I be rejected instantly for not having them?

yes, the course rigor will affect college admissions if you don’t apply early a/d, however it is only a minimal impact.

For your second question, you probably won’t be rejected instantly, but yes it will to a extent hurt you if they RECOMMEND it.

If I were interested in a college that had actual “requirements” (not recommendations) that I didn’t fulfill, I wouldn’t waste my time and money sending in an application. Particularly if it’s a selective college that could fill it’s fr class a couple of times over with highly qualified candidates who DID fulfill all requirements.
