Please give your honest opinion about my courseload this semester: (only 22 credits) in regards to universities like NYU (Stern), UPenn (Wharton), Cornell (Cals)
Major: Accounting / Finance

Can we say anything about your courseload? Sure. How about..it's shiny?

In all seriousness no one knows what you are asking. What do you want us to say about it exactly? It's 22 credits...which is plenty. And the class choices are alright. Is that the opinion you wanted?

This has been discussed on another thread, I think. But I believe that was started by another poster wanting to take an unusually large credit-load in one term.

My comments on your courseload involve the whole picture; I don't think it makes sense to comment on one term's schedule without the context of the freshman year which preceded it:[ul][]your listed schedule is confusing as you have summer and fall of 2007 in there twice; I'll assume those first ones were 2006 and comment based on that []there are at least 3 repeats in your courseload; I don't understand that and I think it is a red flag which will hurt you in admissions. I guess you can't do much about that now other than drop the repeat you currently have in your schedule[]I don't understand taking CalcII and Linear Algebra in the same term; usually the first is a pre-req for the second, is it not?[]I don't know how the schools you are considering will look at a 22-hour courseload, but I would be concerned about that if I were you; they might think "Wow. Really hard worker, willing to take on a heavy load." They might think "This is a lot of credit hours; the courses must be way easy and may not be the quality we want for preparation at our place." They might think "If this student has so much time on his hands, we'd rather see him pursuing things outside the classroom which will enrich his life and would enrich our campus." I tend to think they will not have a positive reaction, but I could be wrong.[/ul]
All in all, I would drop 3 credits from the schedule, because there are too many red flags. Although I'm confused by which is really your current term, if it involves a repeat that you do not NEED to take because you failed or got a D in the course, I would drop it like a hot potato.
