so the class would count into my GPA, and fulfill possible premed requirements? (if the class is one)

That would need to be answered by an academic adviser. I’ll see if I can get the answer and post it after the holiday.

thanks, much appreciated

did you get the info, if i may ask, UCDadmissions?

If the catalog list the course as “_____ may be taken for full credit” then the grade for the course will be listed on the transcript and calculated into your GPA. This was confirmed by an academic adviser from the College of Letters and Science.

so to confirm, i don’t have to use AP credit and can therefore take the intro courses like a student who doesn’t have AP credit? (ie for GPA, premed requirements)

is this policy any different from the college of biological sciences?

thanks for getting that answer btw

I believe the College of Biological Science prefers students to complete the courses. Please contact the Major Adviser found at [Biological Sciences](<a href=“Majors | UC Davis”>Majors | UC Davis) for the answer.

is it the e-mail address at the bottom of the page?
i e-mailed that one about 2 wks ago…is there anyone else i could contact for the biosci college?

^ (10 chars)

I can only recommend you send another message or contact them via the phone number listed. That is the only contact information I have for the major of Biological sciences.

does it matter which major advisor i contact?

I suppose any academic adviser within the College of Biological Sciences should be able to help.
