I believe those majoring in the engineering and medical field are obligated to take intro classes for generally all the sciences and maths? In my case, it would definitely help since I forgot a lot of chemistry material. Any input? difficulty level?

If plan on going to medical school you better start loving chemistry because you will be taking A LOT of chemistry. If you are worried about chem you should watch some videos online to review material so that you feel prepared to take Gen. Chem. 1. If you plan on going to engineering school. I’m almost positive that all engineers have to take at least gen. chem. 1, and for gen chem. 1 you need a decent background before you start. But as an engineer chemistry will be the least of you worries.
If you truly don’t fell comfortable starting in general chemistry you could take introduction to chemistry and then start taking the general chemistry sequence.
