I was admitted to McCormick for the class of 2014 but was wondering whether you can take courses at the other Undergrad schools as well such as Weinberg.
Im especially interested in the 'Financial Economics' Certificate program at Kellog but the course requirements include 2 courses only offered at Weinberg. I was a bit worried about this and thus the question.

<p>yes of course you can! and you probably have to in order to fill up your elective requirements. </p>

<p>They are, but I’m not sure that particular Kellogg certificate is open to McCormick students- they have certain ones specifically for McCormick students (I believe one is Managerial Analytics)</p>

<p>Yes, both certificates are open to all Northwestern undergraduates who fulfill the prerequisites regardless of their school or major. We encourage all qualified students who believe that the certificate program will contribute to their education and career goals to apply.</p>

<p>a lot of engineering students, especially those in IEMS department, have econ as their second major.</p>
