courses that do not require a lot of writing

i'm really bad at writing essays and am hoping to avoid courses with a lot of writing in my first semester. does anyone know such course that can also be used as breadth?

or courses that I should avoid?

My brother told me themed English courses are a lot better than regular ones...more interesting and not as much work. He told me to take a Public Health course he took, as ell as to look into the seminars.
If you have the gen. catalog, that should help.

Basically, most science courses will not have papers. I recommend Nutri Sci 10 for bio breadth...one of the easiest classes to pull off a B in, and not too hard for an A either...especially if you've taken AP Bio. 3 midterms and a final but you can drop one. 15 minutes of homework per week.

thanks calrule and vicissitudes.
calrule, what do you mean by "themed English courses"?

Philosophy 12A.

like African-American or Asian themed.
