CoursEval Messenger... is it really anonymous? Should I write the truth?

I just got a notification from a company called CoursEval asking me to rate my professors and the courses. Is it really anonymous?? The deadline is on the last day of classes, before the final exams, so I am nervous that my profs will find out what I write about some of them. One of them is also inappropriate (sexually), and I wanted to write something of that nature, but I am fearful that they will track me down and question me because that could be a serious issue.

What to do!?!?

Are you serious? You are stressing over something that an anonymous website wants you to do? Anyways, no, they won't find out, but I'm sure you would be contributing more by posting this on a website such as Ratemyprofessor.com, that most college students use. I'm sure that this website is a anthill compared to the mountain that is ratemyprofessor.

Edit: on second thought, this looks like it could be through your school, as feedback about the instructors? If so, then you should also put what is true. They cannot penalize you for the truth.

^^ Well, they should not be able to penalize you, but reality is.. sometimes different. I do think that site keeps your data protected, but you should keep in mind that YOU could give away who you.

My dad is a prof, and if it's a small class he can usually tell by the rating (ratios effort/grades/etc...) if the student is good, average, or bad, motivated, a teachers pet, or lazy. If someone mentions a specific incident, he almost always knows who it was, and you don't believe how many students have their typical, recognizable error - eg.. My father always rants about the guy with the 'if loop', or are just recognizable by their speech patters. (Well, I tend to start sentences with well..)

So - I wouldn't be paranoid, but I'd try not to "attack" the professor directly, maybe use sarcasm or his own words against him.
My opinion, though.

And: If you write a serious accusation, keep in mind that they HAVE a way to track who you are. I think they are even required to have one..
