<p>The issue is I have virtually no chance of getting in (3.25 ACT hoping for a 27 ACT in Sept). I would like to go there but my slim chances. I am just worried I would be setting myself up for disappointment.</p>

<p>I agree, at least have fun with your cousin regardless of your chances at the university. It is a beautiful place and it might even be an option of setting yourself up for disappointment vs offending your cousin.</p>
