Cousins as Yale legacy?

I'm a high school sophomore right now and my cousin goes to Yale, I believe in the class of 2016, so she will have graduated by the time I start the application process. Does she count as Yale legacy, or do only parents count? I've tried researching Yale's legacy policy but they have no page on their website about it (as far as I can tell) and information floating around the web is pretty contradictory and vague.

So, do cousins count as Yale legacy?

@merlion, to my understanding, cousins do not count.

I believe that grandparents and siblings count at Yale, but not at some other schools.

On the common app page there is no option to select “cousin”, there is only “parent” or “grandparent”

Parents and grandparents. There are a few sibling groups there, but that would only mean that they have the same parents and grandparents so they would be using them to claim legacy, not the sibling.

If your parents attended said school, you are a legacy.
