So I'm in Couzens .. kind of dissapointed, but does anyone know anything about it?? Food, people etc.
Thanks

disappointed? It's one of the better dorms on campus. Don't be disappointed at all. At least you're not on North or Oxford. There's a bus stop right outside the dorm and most classes aren't more than a 10-12 minute walk.

ahah yeah you're right
but I was doing honors housing, so kind of expecting south quad
which is more "social"?

What are the best dorms on campus? I'm in fletcher hall.

both are social. I think South Quad houses more students, but its not like you're gonna make more friends there because you have 40 students living in your hallway as opposed to 30.

There are honors kids living in other dorms too. Not everyone gets put into South Quad.

In my opinion, best dorms on campus by location are (in order).
East Quad, West Quad/Cambridge, South Quad

Best dorm by room size/surroundings/cleanliness (not in order)
Couzens, Alice Lloyd, Oxford. Maybe Mo-Jo, but I'll have to see that in the fall.

Don't know about North, but who wants to live there anyway? lol. Heard Bursley has the best food on campus.

Couzens is quite a good dorm, you'll have Honors kids living there as well. They have quite a number of social events and with the MCSP learning community living in Couzens, they organize a few as well. The bus to North and the bus to Central stops right outside the dorm which is a big plus, and even the classes are just a walk over the bridge so it's not all that bad. The Hill Dining Center is opening in the fall and it will be even better than Bursley so you'll be eating the best of campus food!(or so says the grapevine)

Does anyone know if all honors dorms are substance free? I didn't think they were, but the way it was phrased on the website confused me.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

As a transfer student, all they offered me was Northwood. I would have KILLED to get any dorm on Central Campus.
