Cover letter internship hedge funds

<p>Hey y'all,</p>

<p>As I am finalizing my master's degree, I have the possibility to work in a company as an intern and write my master thesis during that period. I would like to get into the world of hedge funds. I need some inspiration (especially on the first paragraph). So, I am asking if someone took their internship at a hedge fund, trading desk, or investment bank to PM me his/her cover letter so I will get some inspiration. I promise I won't copy past it and will make my own story of it (which I partially have). But the most difficult line is the first paragraph and especially to find a catchy first sentence to start my cover letter with.</p>

<p>So if someone is able to pm me their letter I would appreciate that. </p>

<p>You can just google this and you’ll find thousands of cover letters.</p>

<p>Also, you shouldn’t be writing an entire story. No one wants to read an essay. Just introduce yourself, what you have done, why you are different and how you can add value that isn’t already mentioned on the resume. Thats all</p>
