I think I figured out the double payment I received. For the earlier stimulus the max age to receive a dependent stimulus was 16. This new stimulus increased the qualifying to adults over the age of 16 who were dependents on a tax return. So, they went back to 2019 because I have not filed 2020 yet. Having the dependent on my tax return put me in Head of Household category and income threshold increased. I received a stimulus and my 2019 dependent received one. So I guess I’ll touch the money and give my D her stimulus
