CP Calculus

Just wondering, in terms of college admissions, is CP calculus (school does not have honors calc) considered a rigorous course (taken Junior year).

I know its a step below AP Calculus. Question is, how big of a step is it?

I took CP Calc this year and did well (there were huge curves though at times). Looking over at some of the material AP does, I probably can do around 80% of the stuff AP does (although I heard AP moves at an extremely fast pace).

Also, compared to AP Stat, which has more prestige?

AP Calculus just goes further in depth than College Prep. The AP does move at a face pace at my school, that’s why few little people take that class. Also because our school doesn’t have Honors Calculus, which they need lol. Anyway, I believe that CP Calculus will “look better” just because it’s Calculus. But Statistics is very useful though.

I want to take AP calculus real badly next year. Freaking music though…takes up so much space in your schedule. If I could redo high school again I would drop music and double up on math so I could take both…
