I'm a junior, I'm in CP Advanced math, and I'm wondering if I should take CP Precal or AP Stats next year. I will be in 3 or 4 other AP classes. Math is not my strong suit.

What is CP? AP Stat is pretty easy from what I understand, even if you aren’t math inclined.

CP is college prep, it is the basic level, lower than honors

AP stats is easy. Pre-calculus was terrible for me (I took Honors though). haha
I Stats is definitely easier than precalculus. But you’re talking about CP vs. AP.
I understand that stats is an “easier” math. But at the end of the day, math is math.
CP is a bit slower paced than honors, and AP stats goes by pretty darn quickly.
I get a chapter test per week in my AP stats class.
So I mean…I guess it’s up to you.

I honestly hate AP Stats, in my opinion, it’s harder than AP Calc BC. More writing. My teacher is really picky, though.
I have the same teacher for both stats and calc
but then again, we have barely 3 months before the AP exam for stats.
Precal is pretty easy around here.

Are you good at writing and describing stuff? If so, I’d recommend stats. If not, go for precal
