I was just admitted into the scholars program and have been looking at the living and learning oppurtunities. None of them really correspond to my major but I have always been interested in art, though I am not very good and do not have much experience. Would it be possible for me to just jump into that community or am I too inexperienced for the courses/feel too out of place with the other students?

Kokeshi – I think you’d be great for the arts program. You definitely don’t have to do anything that corresponding to your major, and if you’re interested in arts, you should definitely look into that program! I know for sure there isn’t any “talent prerequisite” – there are a lot of people in that program who are just genuinely interested. If you have an interest in art, you would probably fit in great with the program!

Thank you thank you thank you! This is exactly the answer I was hoping for!

No problem at all… if you have any questions that you can’t find on the Scholars page or are just wondering, I’d be more than happy to answer them. :)

awesome
i cant wait for the fall!
