CP vs UVa, for Computer Science

<p>I'm having a real hard time deciding between these which school to attend. I want to major in computer science, and am comparing their programs.</p>

<p>Does anyone have any information that could help me decide, like statistics, perks, or problems they've seen at these schools? Has anyone else been to both or gone to one of them?</p>

<p>And does anybody know if College Park has some sort of programming club? I couldn't find any in its student organizations list.</p>

<p>the professors are the major difference
UVA doesn't have as many great professors from CS & Engineering department. At umd, math, physics, engineering and cs professors are at the top of the field.</p>

<p>do you know how they compare in science? i can't decide between the two schools.</p>
