CPA or BS in (Business Administration,Accounting, Information Systems)

So I have an interesting general question for this forum...

Originally I wanted to be an investment analyst. However a chronic illness I have had since 16 has come to the point where I no longer believe there will be a cure (I am only 24 yrs old by the way)...I now have to pick a career that is the most versatile, flexible, and may involve work from home opportunities. Ideally I still want to work with "crunching numbers" to a certain extent...At the moment I have a BSBA-Finance degree. I graduated last may and landed a great job at Wells Fargo Advisors...However, due to another mysterious health condition (that was just recently successfully diagnosed and treated)I was forced to resign from that position. At the moment my unique financial situation has allowed me only two more semesters of student loans. So which credential(s) would offer the most career versatility, flexibility, and possible work from home opportunities?:

1) Is it to finish off my studies with the required coursework to sit for the CPA and work public accounting for a small firm...and enjoy job security within the accounting/finance/corporate world.

(OR)

2) Finish off not only with a BSBA-Finance but also a BS in Accounting and a BS in Information Systems...and enjoy ridiculous entry level and career flexibility...

This should be a VERY interesting discussion. I appreciate any input and possible debate. Thank you.

I think it’s more about the company then about the major. Even entry level people with no degree at my place of employment can work from home. I work from home about ninety percent of the time and I have an IS degree.

That being said, the more versatile you are the more companies will be interested to get you into a position like that.

Finance, accounting and is courses probably have a lot of over lap.

I think it just depends what you’re must interested in. Doesn’t really sound like you know?

I think you have to go with your interest and the area in which you prove yourself the best.

Infromation systems holds good prospects. In general I don’t really think its fair to compare CPA with a BA or BS in business. BS/BA in business can sometimes be the same thing, each school has their own approach. Though BS tends to be more quantitative.
