Hello everyone, I have a quick question. I am currently a student at Mt. SAC and have a 4.42 GPA. I have completed all of my transfer requirements and am currently finishing some upper levels of math and my second level of physics. I am just curious as to if my GPA is competitive enough for me to be accepted into CPP. Overall what are your guys’ opinions on my chances of getting in. Thank You.
Lol yes you’ll definitely get in Manufacturing/Industrial with a 4.42 GPA coming from Mt Sac. With a 4.42 you could even apply for the top tiers (Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil).
Not sure how you can have a College GPA of 4.42? I was not aware that colleges weight classes beyond the traditional 4.0 scale.
Oh boy, I mean a 3.42… Sorry
I think CPP is a solid Match for you. Best of luck.
You should get in as long as you have the calc series completed. Without it they won’t take you. Of the engineering majors, manufacturing is probably the least impacted. My son transferred to CPP in 2016 in mechanical engineering and the cutoff then for mechanical was around a 3.4 and that is the most impacted of the engineering programs.
