<p>The PSATs are just around the corner and I've been preparing mostly all summer, but I'm still not satisfied with my CR and WR scores. People keep saying read read read and do massive amounts of vocab. to improve your CR score, but can you name any particular books or magazines to read and which vocab. list to study. And about writing, which prep book is good to learn all the rules. </p>

<p>For writing, you really need to master grammar rules. Do you have a good grammar book for your English class?</p>
<p>Thanks, I will look more into Word Smart. And the last time I've had a grammar book for english was in middle school; we don't focus much on grammar in high school. I do have a few PR book that have rules in them. Is that good enough?</p>
<p>It might be. Give it a shot, see how your score improves. PR in general is pretty solid for verbal.</p>
