I took SAT I in October 1st, and got a 610 in CR. Everything seems to be very smooth to me at first for the non-fiction CR passages, at least I could comprehend the general ideas and find a linkage between the passage and the questions. But when it came to the fiction, it became a disaster for me. The international passage was about an island, and some grandmas, that's all I could understand from that passage. I practically answered the questions about that fiction passages randomly, and finally for the 48 CR questions I got 15 wrong and 1 omitted, probably mostly due to that passage. So what could I do about the big deviance of my comprehension abilities in fictions and non-fictions? Are there any SAT-like fictions that I can read about to quickly improve the defect, for the sake of my December retake?
