<p>What are some good prep books for CR / Grammer review? These have always been my weakest subjects on the SAT, especially CR. If I can just get a 600 on CR, I would be happy. </p>
<p>I currently have the Blue Book, Grubbers, and PR SAT Manual. Is the Rocket Review or Barron's CR and Writing Workbook any good? I am looking for a prep book with more of the fundamental skills and techniques.</p>
<p>I am afraid you are doomed if you're in high school and still cannot spell "grammar." </p>
<p>But in all seriousness, I would do some hardcore practice with the Blue Book. I took every single CR section in it and improved my score 110 points.</p>
<p>In my opinion, the two best books for the CR are Maximum SAT and Rocket Review. Both are also excellent for the Writing section.</p>
<p>Barrons 2400 is very good if you have a pretty high starting score. I'd say that if you scored over 620 the first time you took the CR, you might love Barrons 2400; otherwise the other two are a better bet.</p>
<p>The Blue Book is, of course, absolutely necessary.</p>
