CR Imperfection

Yeah, where can I get those GRE passages? Thanks.

Any other suggestions?

All you 800 scorers who studied to get there, how did you top off the last 50?

Any other advice, than GRE...?

My problem is yours.
Math is easy to top off.
All the answers are black and white.
But with CR, I always trick myself into seeing a gray area that doesn't exist.
Vocab I rarely blunder on (even if you don't know it, the answers are usually predictable), but, like you, I always seem to get a few passage reading questions wrong. It's especially frustrating if the question is only medium in difficulty.
My best advice is just to continue doing practice problems, try to see a pattern in your wrong responses.

I need help again,

I try and I try, but I just cannot perfect my reading scores. Not the SCs, the passages. I always seem to get a question wrong per passage. It is not that it is a hard question, I somehow can get those. But it is just the type of question that can catch you off guard and make you choose incorrectly. However, I have the intellect to decipher the real answer any time, it is just when I am taking it those few questions amidst many others, seem to throw me off. Why? I have done a lot of CR Prep and strat building, but there just seems to be a dip here and there..... why?

Focus?

Maybe if you find most of the questions easy you may somewhat loose interest and miss one. That happens to me sometimes. I read the first, second paragraph, easily answer some questions then after my mind has flown to admission essays and financial aid, the next question seems too opaque.
