Hi,
I am a junior who took the SAT for the first time last November and got a 630 in reading.
I really want to boost this score up to at least the low 700s but this is proving difficult for me. My next test will be on the 28th but from the practice tests that I am currently taking (blue book, barrons CR, grubers 2400), I found that whenever I narrow down answers for the long passages, I always end up with two possible ones but pick the wrong one. This extremely frustrates me as I am always so close to the right answer. Are there any suggestions on how to approach this type of problem?
Thank you (:

Try to prove one of the two answers wrong.

when you get to the 2 answers, pick the one that you don’t think is right (reverse psychology). If you constantly find yourself picking the ones that sounded right to you but they’re wrong. Pick the other one :).

Basically, do the same thing you’ve done before, but just pick the opposite choice. Worked for me lol.
