Hi guys,
I was practicing for about 2 months on various textbooks and stuff. I've read about 8 books but i'm still having major problems with my CR (around 650). Can u give any advices how to answer these 6 more questions and to break the 'majestic 700' :)). I feel like I am trying to get out of a 'magic circle' - i'm scoring the same results over and over again.

I think a huge misconception is that people think "reading more" will automatically boost up your score. NO, NO, No!

Reading smarter is better than reading harder.

Take fewer practice tests. For every hour you spend taking a test, spend two hours reviewing those answers and analyzing WHY you got them wrong. Grab a friend and discuss the answer choices.

I'm stuck in the same boat. But I improved from a 580-720 in a few months!! I'm stuck around the low to mid 700s boohooo

thanks twinkletoes23
I will put the focus on analyzing my mistakes. Btw, have u got any suggestions what exactly will be useful to read. Yesterday I bought a book called "Great American Speeches" by Gregory Suriano. It is just awesome...

um...
get the 8 real SAT book and 10 real sat books. just old SAT practice tests.

You need to understand the answer choices ETS throws out at you. Reading random classics won't necessarily help unless you are already a strong reader
