The interview is my most dreaded part of the application process.
I find it difficult and painful to keep a conversation going with strangers like interviewers.
I don't know if it's my personality or lack of proficiency in English or both that's causing this problem, but how can you keep a conversation going and be a great interviewee at interviews?

some people are just natural interviewers.

If you're not, going through mock interviews can certainly help.

A lot of people find it difficult to talk about themselves for extended periods of time. Again, practice can help.

The main concern on your part should be to make sure you get across all the big things about you. If there are any problems in your application, any special awards or experiences that didn't fit on your primary or secondary application, or anything that makes you stand out, you have to make sure you talk about those and bring them up. If you accomplish those goals, then you're probably doing okay. You can't make interviewers love you, it just has to happen, and even the best interviewee in the world is going to fail once in a while...

The main concern should be being diligent about your coursework so that you're still a premed in three years.

Well said bdm. The horse goes in front.
