I scored a 29 on the first math practice test for "Cracking the ACT" and a 31 on the second math practice test.

The 29 consisted of ~2 stupid mistakes and the 31 consisted of ~4 stupid mistakes. So, if these tests are realistic, i really think i can score a 33+ on the math section of the Real ACT.

Can anyone with experience tell me how accurate PR's "Cracking the ACT" math sections are?

Ah, yes I used PR too… I generally got 34-35 on practice tests and got a 36 on the real deal. So it seemed pretty accurate…

princeton review is very accurate, I feel. I score around the same on the real act’s and PR.

Wow, thanks guys. I never expected the PR tests to be accurate, they seem really easy to me. (maybe that’s because i haven’t taken an ACT math section in months.) I’m looking forward to learning from my mistakes and taking them over to the Red Book tests!

Also, if anyone has extra thoughts to add about the PR book, please feel free to do so.

Princeton Review tends to be more ‘moderate’ and realistic compared to something like Barron’s higher difficulty books in general. In almost any case, PR is always a good book choice for almost every test (AP, SAT, ACT, etc.).
