I want to write a truly excellent response to the question of why I want to attend [school], why I feel like [school] is a good fit for me, and what I would contribute to [school] if admitted. I don't want to write something run-of-the-mill. If I'm applying to a college, it's because I've done a lot of research on it and truly believe it's a place I'd love to attend. But I can't just say "I've done extensive research on your school and love it love it love it!"

How can I communicate my enthusiasm for a school while remaining thoughtful? How can I let the admission officers know that I'm really, genuinely interested in their school without outright stating that fact and bashing them over the head with it?
