one girl graduated from my high school, went to yale, and then dropped out to be a professional poker player. she is now back at yale.

My friend skipped school so much that she got kicked out school 1st semester of senior year... (I mean come on now, you are almost done!) She then had to move in with her dad 3 hrs away and went another school for a semester so she could graduate from high school.

That story didn't count! She isn't even done with HS! She was a wreck to begin with. =P

Friend of my older sister became a D2 cross country and track runner. Summer after freshmen year she dated some guy, has sex for the first time. Got pregnant. Is now engaged. However, she is enrolled at a private college near home, now and is doing particularly well for herself.

Quote from my brother: "College is so weird...I actually have friends."

So, yeah. It's good for some people. On the other hand, my friend's ex-bf (complete goody-goody type, youth pastor at church, wouldn't even think about kissing her, etc...) got some girl pregnant.

My class valedictorian was once your typical nerd, but now dresses preppy and is in a frat. If you knew him before his dramatic change, you would think he had a brain transplant.

One girl I knew got pregnant, those who stayed at CC are doing well, two girls that were in the band with me in high school are on academic probation, the band nerd still lives in the high school world, and my roommate was dismissed from college, but he appealed so he's returning.

smart kids went to CC? and dropped out.......what else....start being potheads.....pregnancy tons....end up as a waiter/waitress in certain restaurants........just when you think they're the smartest people you've met in high school......think again....

^They're still probably smart. People hit rough patches at different times in their lives...no reflection at all on intellect; that's just life.
