Craziness...

College admissions are crazy.

Midterms are crazy.

I have my physics midterm tomorrow. I have no idea how I'm going to pass. I'm sure someone here is going to insult me, and say something like, 'that's how college classes are taught,' but I dont believe it. Everyday we listen to my teacher talk about her dog, or we read chapters in the textbook. This is my teacher's first year of teaching, so I'll cut her some slack. But she won't cut me any. We use a college textbook and she assigns only the extra credit problems in the chapters, which are the suicidally hard ones. ::venting:: Physics sucks. I have no idea what I'm doing in this class. I'm surprised I can even spell Fiziks. Okay, done.

College admissions are crazy too. I want better grades so I can get into a good college. A 3.7 is horrible, apparantly.

Okay, your turn. If you want one...

r u a senior ^?

i am going into the ap physics c midterm next week with a 75%. last year 1/2 of the students failed the final. i am aiming for a b. is it possible? dont think so.

yeah...

perhaps physics destroys everyone's souls, not just those of the kids at my school.

whats ridiculous about my teacher is how everything revolves around the ap exam. so are final is a previous ap physics final. I DONT CARE ABOUT THE AP TEST. i am not taking the ap test in may so why cant we just have a NORMAL final!!!????

my ap physics teacher got to be one of the best as well the hardest teacher in the country. He gave us a problem set every week which usually consists of six problems. Those problems are not at the level as the real AP test at all. He used problems from past U.S physics team screening exams and many other national or international physics competition, training materials. that's why every year, even though our physics class is only around 20 people, there are always one or two who make the U.S physics team semifinalists. He sometimes gives out questions on the test that he cant even justify the solution himself and he did so only to make sure that no one is getting smarter than him. When he occationally put an old AP question on our test, everyone took it as a piece of cake.

by the way, i forgot to mention there are only 200 semifinalists in the entire nation.

........o....m....g....

hehehe schools r applying to rachel and what's your grades so far

what schools am i applying to and what are my phsyic grades?
