I studied over 20 hours for the test. I can practically recite the chapter to you word for word. I took the test. It was one of the hardest test I've ever taken. I got a B+.

A B+? Not great, but it isn't something I'll die over. What ****ES me off was that I got the highest score out of all the students. My teacher teaches ~150 students. Our average score was a 63%, and although he gave us an AP style test (all 65 questions in 45 mintes) he doesn't weight the test.

My teacher is crazy. He refuses to give out A's. And congratulated me on my "excellent grade."

I hate when teachers do that. But it’s an AP class, so I feel like he can use that argument and pretty much win every time. Wait till the next test – if the average is still low, talk to someone in the school about it. He might just be starting out really tough so that everyone will work harder and whatnot.

I’m surprised. Usually there’s some kind of curving on those things. I know that when I had AP US, my teacher would refuse to give anyone an A+ on their test. Even if students got all of the multiple choice questions correct, he would still count them down on the essay portion for small things. His motto was “There’s no such thing as a perfect essay.”

But yeah, I cannot complain compared to your story.
