<p>I'm applying early decision somewhere, and my school requires two teacher recs plus a counselor rec. </p>
<p>I really wanted a rec from my APUS teacher, because I knew she would write a good one, but she absolutely insisted on sending it DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL instead of giving it to my guidance counselor to send out with my transcript, other recs, etc. And she sent it before I sent in my personal application (I still haven't done this).</p>
<p>I panicked a little bit and asked two other teachers for recs (h physics and AP spanish), and they gave them to my guidance counselor. Now she's ready to send out my application package, but I don't know what to do about my "third" recommendation. My counselor called the school and they said if they got 3, they would treat one as a supplemental...but I'd rather them consider my APUS teacher rec over the AP Spanish one (since it's considered the stronger subject). What should I do? Ask her to re-send my rec once I send in my application? Hope that they didn't throw out the random teacher recommendation they received for a student they hadn't heard of yet?</p>
