crocs are some retarded ****

never ever wear crocs!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeassssee.why Do We Always Have To Talk About Clothes, **** The Commercial World And Lets Do Whatever We Want, Make Your Own Rules...your Own Style....your Own Opinion. Watch Fight Club, And You'll Understand Me

What we've got here is Mr. Tyler Durden. LOL
Tyler was in me as well some time ago, but I seem to have forgotten about it. He has been obscured by all the plebeian, mainstream BS of life. But, IMHO, you must not jump to conclusions, try to have vicarious experiences and live an austere life simply because you have seen such movies as Fight Club or Office Space or The Big Lebowski.
IMHO, time and experience will gradually guide us to what we think and feel is right. Then only can you decide to "Do Whatever We Want, Make Your Own Rules...your Own Style....your Own Opinion". But for the time being, let apathy prevail.

Paranoid Android: great user name. Power to Radiohead.

i agree with other people that you should wait until you get to school and find out what everyone is wearing but heres what i think are the best things to buy:

pants: dockers or eddie bauer or chaps khakis
jeans: lucky, AE, sevens, true religions, citizens of humanity, or rock n republic
tee shirts: dont get a lot of them but the best places are the muscle fitting ones from A&F
polo/ button down shirts: lacoste or RL
shorts: quiksilver, AE, AF, or stuff from Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus
sunglasses: i like prada and versace but i hear that ray ban is pretty good too
shoes: NO ATHLETIC unless you are actually using them for exercise. get like some normal ones like vans and then get some nice ones too
also its good to have a good wallet

prepster got it right for the most part (i dont like AE or A&F). i love my pradas (yay for my brother's 50% discount at sunglass hut). i have gotten so many compliments on the glasses. oh, and dont get oakleys. especially the ones with some crazy tint. youll look like a fool.

oh and paranoidandroid, im sick of all your fight club ****. you have posted something about it in every clothes thread.

I found that my taste changed a lot my first year of college, as part of a natural maturing process, I guess. So maybe hold off on buying a complete new wardrobe? The things I bought early first semester...I look at them, and just think, "No, not so much" If you have a great chunk of money to spend, wait until you think you've settled into a style that you're comfortable with for a few years
