Creating a whole new wardrobe

o haha wow im so blind/doing a hundred other things. my bad

This is the funniest thread I've seen all day. Kudos!

to the OP, check the thread you created in college life. mactec made a huge post.

$2,000 for preppy clothes...? lmao...

listen, spend your money on something more productive...

if you can't get girls the way you currently dress (this is barring that you don't dress like a complete slob, mind you)...

don't expect them to be spreading their legs just because you start wearing A+F... it doesn't work that way...

another heads up: just beware that most of the clothes you want to spend all this money on will be pointless in a few short years once you begin your career...and you will be spending much, much more on nice shirts, ties, suits, shoes, watches, etc...remember that...

Scom, if the kid wants to go out and treat himself to some nice stuff i think he should. So what if he wont be able to wear the stuff in a year or two. It will make him feel more confident and the girls will pick up on that and plus they may think, if he spends money on himself he'll spend money on me.

Go to Target and then blow the remaining $$ in Barnes and Noble.

Totally agree.

2000$!!!???

for new clothes for freshman yr in hs???

fYI, you will outgrow most of them in 6 months. bad idea. but whatever, do what you wish, but you will have to set aside like $500 bucks to buy some golddigging chicks expensive stuff when they think you're rich and sink their claws in

it may or may not make him feel more confident...from my experience, clothes don't play a huge role in getting women in college... as i said, as long as you dress "normal", not like a complete slob, etc...there should be no problems. you don't have to go around throwing money away on designer clothing when you have more important expenses to worry about.

clothing will only change your appearance, it rarely will change the person who wears it...meaning, if he's socially inept, Abercrombie isn't going to magically fix his problem....

absolutly u need more than just good fashion

Bahaha, 2k on clothes? ghey....?

Just go out, buy some Sambas...a couple pairs of jeans, a blazer for fridays...maybe a tie...oh and a watch. Also, lots and lots of underwear. Thats like 200. Invest the rest. You dont need 2k worth of clothes, anywhere.

you need more than 2k at some places...and if he wants to spend that i think he should...my advice is to just go to whatever store you want and dont look at prices just find stuff that makes you feel good and in the end it doesnt matter if its $4000 or $40.
