I'm looking to study creative writing and heard that Redlands had a good creative writing and/or English program. I wanted to get more info on it--average class size, what courses that you need to take, etc.
I'm also comparing Redlands with some other colleges, too, like Occidental, Chapman, and UC Riverside. If anyone could give me ANY information, that would be so great! Thanks!

If you go to the Redlands website under academics, you should be able to find the classes required for the creative writing or english major. It is a liberal arts college so you will have to take a required first year seminar, 2 semesters of a foreign language (or test out), and the liberal arts foundation courses (LAF’s), and complete a community service requirement.

Many classes fulfull more than one requirement. For example my child’s first year seminar is also satisfying an art LAF and community service.

Class sizes average in the low twenties. I believe many are capped at 25 students. Explore each colleges website as there is tons of info provided.
