<p>Anyone here know anything about the minor? how is it? is it difficult? is it popular? What kind of classes did you take and were they easy? pros and cons of getting this minor?</p>

<p>One does not get a creative writing minor because it is easy, or because its pro is that it will “boost your resume.”</p>
<p>If you like creative writing, take classes in it and possibly get a minor. You will enjoy it.
If you don’t like creative writing, don’t take classes in it.</p>
<p>I do like creative writing. Otherwise, I would be interested in a different minor.
Pros and cons of the minor itself was my original intent. I am interested in knowing if this minor is more theory based or whether there are opportunities to write different types of pieces. What are some strengths of this minor and what are some of the weaker areas are things I’m interested in.</p>
<p>For example, I know the media studies major focuses more on “analytical and historical” rather than development of “specific media production skills”. What is the Creative Writing minor like?</p>
