<p>Should I send a supplement or could it backfire on me?</p>
<p>I’m sending some of my art! Risky, I know, but it’s a chance I’m willing to take. If I were you I would send it because it proves your passion, whereas simply saying “I like to write” on the application just hints at it.</p>
<p>I think you should send a supplement; I don’t think things like that would really backfire on anybody. Boarding Schools have school newspapers and they always want/need more writers. Also, maybe you should get somebody who knows you do creative writing to vouch for your skills.</p>
<p>That’s a really good idea; to send a supplement of your writing. Now that I think of it, I think I’m also going to include a piece of my favorite writing. My writing teacher loved it so much that she read it to all her other classes and wouldn’t tell them who it was. (I’m her 1st period) She even bragged to my teachers and teachers on different teams. (:</p>
