Credit by Examination for Required Classes

Hi Aggies -

I am a sophomore transfer who will be beginning this Fall. Has anyone been successful in testing out of Poli Sci 206? or Physics 201?

This is what the TAMU website recommends about Poli Sci 206:

The test is a 90 minute, multiple choice examination that covers American National Government and politics in general, including matters relating to the national Constitution. A score of 60% is required for credit in Political Science 206. You should begin to prepare with any comprehensive American National Government text currently being used at TAMU and available in the local book stores.

I'm wondering if an AP Poli Sci Review Book would be a good source? Has anyone used something like this?

I took a basic Physics class at my current college, but my department is requiring me to re-take Physics 201 next Fall. What does anyone think about an AP Physics Review book to prepare for the exam?

Thanks!!!
