<p>My son found out that with some schools you have to pay by check.</p>
<p>try commonapp.org and see if the college you apply to accept online credit card payment.</p>
<p>Alternatively, go to the schools' websites and also check to see if they accept online payment.</p>
<p>On the Comman App website, click the "Checklist" tab at the top. A list of the schools you have applied to should come up. Under the column "Online Payment", every school that accepts the fee online will have a link. Click it to pay via credit card.</p>
