<p>I'm going to be a CS major next year and i was wondering what course credit we get at UCSD for AP Computer Science.</p>
<p>Warren's site simply says the following: "1 course may apply toward Formal Skills requirement OR Science & Technology PofC."</p>
<p>I'm assuming we should be able to skip CSE 8A and CSE 11?</p>
<p>If you too the A exam:</p>
<p>and you scored - </p>
<p>3 - 2 units of elective credit, does not count toward GE
4 - exempt CSE 8A/8AL
5 - exempt CSE 11</p>
<p>If you took the AB Exam:</p>
<p>and scored</p>
<p>3 - 1 course towards formal skills requirment or Science and technology PofC
4 - Exempt CSE 11
5 - exempt CSE 11; exempt CSE 12 with departmental approval.</p>
