I'm an incoming Freshman who's going to major in bioengineering. The degree requirements list online says "The curriculum for a B.S. degree in bioengineering requires 94 credit hours, which count towards the total of 134 hours required in order to graduate."
With a total of 24 distribution hours, that's 118 hours. So what about the other 16? Can you just get them from wherever you want?

Bump…come on, it’s kinda pressing, I need to decide soon which AP tests I’m going to take…

Go online and see which AP tests Rice accepts for division credit…

That’s not what I’m asking though. I already know which ones I’ll be able to use for distribution credit. I just want to know if I can use credit hours that come from AP tests that don’t count for distribution (specifically, English Literature) to count in the other 16.

Yes, I’m pretty sure you can… for all the ap tests listed in that bulletin, you get graduation credit. But I’m not 100 percent sure.
