So I went on the COD and jotted down four classes I really want to take. I just went on ISIS this morning and enrolled in them. I got everything I wanted except for one problem. The ISIS limits my schedule to 15 credits. So I have 13 credits right now and I cannot enroll in my lab course which is worth 3 credits. Should I just wait for orientation to sort this out?

ISIS let you enroll in classes before orientation? That's a new low for ITC.

The quick answer: You're not supposed to be able to enroll in ANYTHING until orientation, so good luck sorting it out when you get there.

Hazelorb,
That was exactly what I thought when I read the OP's comments. Looks like something may have slipped through the cracks with ISIS; who knows what the OP will find when he/she arrives for Orientation.

All the sessions just ended, so I'm thinking it must be a glitch for international students?

Maybe international students are allowed to pre-enroll in classes? Still weird. Are you restricted to 15 credits at orientation? I dunno, more information is needed on this. Lol.

I remember reading about international students being allowed access to ISIS already since they don't have orientation until the thurs/friday before move-in. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that you can register up to the max starting tomorrow August 1 (college kids is that right?).

yes i'm in the international session (session L) so uva lets us figure everything out and lets us register for classes today, a bit earlier than august 1st. Anyways I found out that ISIS has the max. credit set at 15 before making it 17 on august 1st.

I guess they don't want the international students have too much of an advantage over the rest.
