I have read many posts saying that if you have ever attended a 4-year university before or after cc, then there is a credit limit but not if all the credits are from a cc. I was wondering if that means only the credits earned from the 4-year university will count towards the limit but not the ones from the cc? For example, if you earn 30 semester credits at a 4-yr university and spent another 2 years at a cc (another 60 sem credits) so does that mean that the 30 credits earned from the 4-yr school will for sure count towards the credit limit? I'm sorry if this sounds a little confusing but I am very confused right now because I have 45 qtr credits from a 4 yr school and I am currently attending a cc in cali.

unfortunately, they will combine the credits from both cc and 4 year univeristy to count toward the credit limit. The good news is that some UCs dont have the credit limit.

read question 5 on this link. It answers your question.

So does that mean that AP credits will not count towards the credit limit?
