Credit/No Credit grade and how it affects transfering to another college?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I currently want to transfer out of CUNY Hunter. I took four courses adding up to 14 credits.
Three courses I will received a 4.0 GPA, but in my fourth course, Chemistry I might end up with the grade of D or F seriously affecting my GPA. Hunter allows me to put a credit/no credit option. Basically I can receive no credit for Chemistry, adding up to 10 credits total, and still i would have a 4.0 GPA. I understand that some colleges look negatively towards a no credit grade. How much will having a no credit grade affect my chances of transferring to another college such as Cornell, Vanderbilt, or Duke? Thanks for your time.</p>

<p>Yeah of course. But the problem is if the the No credit grade will affect my chances of being accepted as a transfer student.</p>
